  The atmosphere in Beards is nice. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere that's great for a group of friends. I was hoping that the physical area would be a little nicer. I didn't like so much that I had to walk down an alley to get to the bar but maybe it's better during peak season.
  
  I loved that they had a variety of boardgames available to play though I do wish that the quality of the games were better. The box for Settlers and 7 Wonders were breaking down and I'm not sure if they could actually be played.
  
  I really liked the merchandise they had for sale. A little expensive but the growler looked really nice and I liked the fake beards they had.
  
  As for the actual beer, I didn't think there was anything special. It was definitely good, but I don't think there was anything that separated it from other breweries. Regardless, I would love to come back at a later time to see how they've grown.

  Good beer and a nice covered patio. "Forget Me Knot" is a good one to start with.

  Visiting Petoskey for the week and had to check out a local brewery. Very comfortable atmosphere and excellent beer selection (I want to say they have 12 on tap that rotate each week?)
  
  Happy's tacos was in there and had excellent food. Drank a pinehopple and played chutes and ladders with my girlfriend while we waited for the food.
  
  Definitely recommend and definitely will return !
